​In June 2019 I traveled to Washington, D.C. to receive two awards for my book from Next Generation Indie Book Awards (the Sundance in Indie Books). I am the winner in Body, Mind and Spirit and a finalist in Best Overall Design Non-Fiction.

She uses a process called visual journaling--first creating flat images with watercolor or collage to epic an emotion or a story, and then creating a three-dimensional doll or figure."
